Donate to SUPAR

There are many ways you can get involved with SUPAR. We are recruiting community members to aid us in our planning and implementation efforts. We’re interested in your feedback on our concept and structure.

1. Donate time by volunteering. Here is how others are getting involved:

Planning and Architecture faculty and staff from the UWM School of Architecture and Urban Planning work with students in small groups, helping them to develop project ideas and providing support for their project-based learning. Volunteers have worked with students on designing and building scale models of chairs, for example.

Students in architecture and urban planning at UWM work with students one-on-one, assisting them with drawing and design, community assessment, and problem-solving. Students have worked with students on using photography to learn about their neighborhoods and to see neighborhoods and buildings in a deeper way.

Professionals have assisted with grant proposal development, creating marketing materials for the school, and hosting events at SUPAR.

SUPAR continues to welcome the efforts of volunteers. If you are able to be in the school as little as one hour each week, we would love to talk to you. If your work schedule prevents your participation during school hours, please contact the school about other donations of your time and talents that you are willing to offer.
